This page is a holding page. The only thing it can collect is an address and a zip, and it does that only if you type them in.

If you asked us to tell you when it starts

We keep four things:

• Your email address — to send you the first edition.
• The zip you typed, if you typed one — so the first edition you get is about your town.
• When you gave them — our evidence that you asked.
• The sentence you were shown when you asked, word for word, so that what we promised you is recorded next to what you gave us.

That is the whole record. No name, no IP address, no cookie, no tracking, no third-party analytics on this page at all.

What happens next

Nothing, until there is a paper. You will get one email — the first edition for your town — and it will carry an unsubscribe link that works on the first tap. If you do nothing after that, you hear from us once a week; if you unsubscribe, we keep your address on a suppression list so a later import cannot put you back.

We will never sell, share or rent your address. There is no version of this paper where that changes.

The human check

The "are you human" check on the form runs on our own hardware. It is not Google's, it sets no cookie, and it reports nothing to anyone. It exists so that the form cannot be used to spray mail at strangers.

Changing your mind before then

Write to us via smbaiguy.com and we will delete the record. You do not have to explain, and there is nothing to fill in.
